Student Experience
Throughout your graduate program you’ll be immersed in programs that move beyond the classroom: public exhibitions, lectures and studio visits with artists, designers, curators, strategists, and researchers. These experiences will add to your practice and deepen your professional development.

Supports & Resources
The Student Wellness Centre combines both health and counselling services to provide every student the opportunity to participate in a healthy and successful post-secondary experience. Their team consists of counsellors, nurses, physicians, psychiatrists, health promoters, student volunteers and administrative support.
Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at OCAD University supports undergraduate, graduate and continuing studies students with temporary and permanent disabilities. After students complete their registration meeting with their Accessibility Advisor, students can access academic accommodations in the classroom and studio.
International Student Services offers individual and group support, services and referrals pertaining to immigration, health, employment and cultural adaptation for international students, mobility/exchange students and all students wishing to make meaningful global connections.
Home to thesis shows, speakers series, and one of a kind events, the Graduate Gallery is the primary exhibition space for graduate students and Faculty of OCAD University. A place where OCAD U graduate students and faculty hold exhibitions, lectures, think-tanks, performances, conferences and experiments.
Did you know OCAD University has seven galleries? Each gallery exhibits art, design, and digital media work by students, as well as internationally renowned professional artists, designers, and researchers.
The Centre for Learning & Teaching (CLT) at OCAD University supports students and faculty in their learning, teaching and curriculum development through a variety of programs and services. By working collaboratively with students, faculty and staff, we create opportunities for shared learning, dialogue and community-building that centre our students’ learning journeys and contribute to a culture of evidence-based teaching and reflective practice at the university.
The Centre for Emerging Artists and Designers (CEAD) is committed to supporting the early-career advancement of all students and recent alumni at OCAD U. They deliver specialized programs and services that connect individuals to meaningful opportunities, communities of practitioners, skill-building resources and facilitated learning experiences.
